Meet Shane Warne of Team 888VIP
Shane Keith Warne was born in 1969 on the 13th of September in the outer suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria. He has three children, Brooke, Summer and Jackson, and currently resides in the elite community of Brighton, VIC.
Shane Warne is best known for his long and accomplished cricket career. Shane became a professional cricket player when he played his first Test Match in 1992. His unique bowling style has deemed him “the best spin bowler of all time” in many sporting circles. This “spin king” was also the first bowler in history to take 600 test wickets.
Shane’s career included playing in the Australian domestic competition, English domestic competition and International competition as captain and coach of Rajastan Royals, the Jaipur team in the Indian Premiere League (IPL). In spring of 2008 he retired from first class cricket to have more time for his family and other business opportunities.
Now in retirement from cricket Shane has taken on several endorsement deals and business ventures. One of his most honorable projects is The Shane Warne Foundation. The foundation raises millions of dollars with the goal to help seriously ill & disadvantaged children.
In addition to his foundation and other endorsement deals, Shane Warne has found a passion for poker and now represents 888Poker as the captain of the 888Poker Team.
Since the beginning of Shane’s new poker career with 888, he has been part of many major world poker tournaments, including; WSOP, Aussie Millions and WSOPE. Shane has also starred in several poker TV shows, such as, 888Poker Open and the hit poker show, 888Poker Ashes.
