1. What are Ring Games

   Ring games are poker games played with real chips at stake. Unlike tournament chips, which are worth nothing outside the tournament, ring game chips represent real money. For example, if you buy in for $20 worth of chips and leave the game with $80, you made a $60 profit.

   Pacific Poker offers ring games of Texas Hold'em, Omaha Hi, Omaha Hi/Lo and Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo variations 24 hours a day. Ring games start when two or more active players sit down at a table.

   Unlike tournaments, at ring games you are not committed to play for a specified amount of time. You can sit down, play and leave with your winnings whenever you want. Another difference is that at ring games the table limits are fixed for the entire length of the game, whereas at tournaments the limits increase with each round.

   Pacific Poker also offers two progressive jackpots at ring game tables: the Bad Beat Jackpot and the Royal Jackpot. We launch our jackpots at initial amounts of $5,000. The more hands played, the bigger the jackpots grow. Visit our Jackpots page to learn how to join a jackpot table.

2. How to Join a Ring Game

   Enter the poker lobby

   1. Click on one of these tabs to choose a poker variation.
   2. Click on the Ring Games tab. If you want to play at a jackpot table click on the Jackpots tab.
   3. If you wish, use the filtering tool to narrow down your search.
   4. View the table chart and double click on the table that is right for you. Check the Pls column to make sure the table is not full.

   

   The ring game table will open and you may choose your seat.

3. Get More Chips Automatically

   By enabling this feature, you can add more chips to a ring game table if you run out during a round. A pop-up will appear when you sit down:

   1. Choose your buy-in amount
   2. Mark the Automatic Rebuy in Amount box.
   3. Enter the amount you wish to automatically add from your account to the table if you run out of money during a game.
   4. Click on OK.

   

   Once you set Automatically Get More Chips, you will not need to click the chip box.

   

   If, at the end of a round, you do not have any more chips at the table, you will get more chips automatically from your Available Money. A confirmation pop-up will appear:
