The last two weeks

The following are the terms and conditions of the "888 Poker Open V" promotion (the "Promotion") which is organized and Promoted by Cassava Enterprises (Gibraltar) Limited, the operator of the Internet sites found, inter alia, at www.888.com and www.pacificpoker.com (the "Promoter"). Your participation in the Promotion shall be deemed to be your complete acceptance of the terms and conditions herein.

• Entry to the Promotion is available only to persons over the age of 18. You may be asked at any stage to provide the Promoter or a third party with proof of age and/or identity.
• Unless provided with special written permission by the Promoter, employees and relatives of employees of the Promoter and any entities affiliated or related to the Promoter shall not be eligible to enter the Promotion. For the purposes herein, the term “relative” shall mean spouse, partner, parent, child or sibling.
• In order to take part in the Promotion you must be an 888.com member and have an active user account with the Promoter at www.pacificpoker.com ("Pacific Poker Account").
• The Promotion shall commence on September 6, 2008 and shall conclude on October 19, 2008 (the "Promotion Period").
• During the Promotion Period entrants shall be eligible to participate in seven weekly 'Satellite' events with a direct $1 buy-in (the "Satellites"). The top 5 entrants of each Satellite shall be eligible to play in the online final which will be held on the following day (the "Finals").
• The first place winner of each of the Finals shall win a prize worth $8500 consisting of a $6,000 buy-in to the "888 Open Poker V" offline poker tournament and $2,500 in cash for related travel and accommodation expenses (the "Prize").
• The entrants finishing in places 2 to 10 in each of the Finals shall also be awarded with free seats to other 888 online poker events and buy-in prizes to same. The exact amounts of such prizes shall be subject to change, at any time, at the Promoter's sole discretion. In no event shall the Promoter pay out such prizes to the entrants in cash.
• The Prize is neither transferable nor exchangeable and cannot be exchanged for money or money's worth unless by the Promoter and at its sole discretion.
• The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to alter the Promotion Period in its sole discretion.
• The Satellites and Finals shall all be played subject to the Promoter's "House Rules" and "Tournament Rules" to be found on www.pacificpoker.com.
• The "888 Open Poker V" (the "Tournament") shall take place in Maidstone, England, between October 27, 2008 and November 7, 2008. The winners of the Prize shall make themselves available to attend the Tournament on the above designated dates and shall bear the sole responsibility for booking the flights or other travel arrangement and having a valid passport, visa and all other required documentation for the purpose of traveling to the United Kingdom on such dates. The Promoter shall carry out the hotel reservations and the winning entrants shall pay for it with the Prize money.
• If for any reason an entrant who has won the Prize fails to attend the Tournament, such winner will be deemed to have forfeited the Prize and shall have no claim whatsoever against the Promoter in such regard. In such an event, the Promoter reserves the right to transfer the Prize to next highest ranked entrant in the relevant Final.
• In the event that for any reason whatsoever any winner of the Prize fails to comply with all the arrangements as instructed by the Promoter, such entrant shall be deemed to have forfeited his / her right to participate in the Tournament and the Promoter shall not have any obligation whatsoever to compensate the entrant in any way.
• Any entrant who has won the Prize and participates in the Tournament shall be subject to the Tournament's Terms & Conditions. In the event such entrant shall refuse to accept the Tournament's Terms & Conditions he/she shall not be allowed to participate in the Tournament and will be deemed to have forfeited the Prize without the right for any compensation whatsoever. The Promoter shall have the right in such event to transfer the Prize to the next highest ranked entrant in the relevant Final.
• The Tournament shall be filmed and broadcast on television. Therefore all entrants who have won the Prize and participate in the Tournament shall be required to grant the Promoter the right to photograph and film them throughout their participation in the Tournament and acknowledge that the Promoter and its affiliated companies shall have a royalty-free, perpetual and world-wide right to use all materials produced during the Tournament in any manner and in any media. For this purpose, all participants in the Tournament will be required to sign appropriate waivers in relation to the use of their names and image as part of any marketing or promotional materials without the need for any prior consent or payment. Any entrant who has won the Prize and refuses to sign the required waiver form shall not be permitted to play in the Tournament.
• The Promoter’s decision is final with respect to all matters relating to the awarding of the prizes, including the Prize, throughout the Promotion and shall not be subject to review or appeal by an entrant or by any third party.
• Your participation in the Promotion is deemed to constitute your agreement that the Promoter may use your name, likeness or image for promotional purposes without the requirement for any payment to you and you expressly waive any claims against the Promoter in this regard.
• You hereby agree that, in the event of your winning any of the Promotion prizes, including the Prize, the Promoter shall be entitled to use your name, likeness and image in relation to promotion and marketing of any of its Internet sites and you hereby grant the Promoter the right to do so.
• In the event that the Promoter shall deem that an entrant to the Promotion has acted in collusion with other entrants, executed any act in bad faith in relation to the Promotion, conducted play in a fraudulent or unethical manner or has not adhered to the Promoter's "House Rules" and/or "Tournament Rules", such entrant shall be excluded from the Promotion and will therefore be ineligible to win any prize, including the Prize.
• By entering the Promotion each entrant unreservedly agrees to these terms and conditions which govern the Promotion and the awarding of the prizes, including the Prize.
• By entering the Promotion each entrant agrees to release, discharge and hold harmless the Promoter, its legal representatives, affiliates, subsidiaries, agencies and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents from any damages whatsoever, including any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the acceptance of any of the prizes, including the Prize, and with the participation in the Tournament.
• Entrants who win any amount of money as part of the Promotion shall be solely responsible for any taxes levied in relation to the receipt of such monies.
• The Promoter reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time and in its sole discretion.
• The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion if, in the sole judgment of the Promoter, the Promotion is not capable of being conducted as specified.
• These terms and conditions have been drafted in the English language. In the event of any discrepancy between the meanings of any translated versions of these terms and conditions and the English language version, the meaning of the English language version shall prevail
• These terms and conditions and any matters relating hereto shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Royal Courts of Justice, London, England.
